Welcome!
Welcome to my blog where I like to talk about FOOD! It is a loose documentation of kitchen experimentation, Michael Pollan fantasies, and recipe ideas. Enjoy.

So this may be a bit of a shocker, but I've never helped out with holiday cooking. Not much, anyway. my mom will sometimes let me butter up the cheese sticks before she pops them in the oven, but mostly our kitchen is a high stress area that I do my best to avoid around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
But this year, our family doesn't really care about Easter. And that means I'm allowed food input. And the menu is as follows:
Rolls with maple butter
A spinach salad with a raisin vinagrette, grilled zuccini, fried guanicale, and goat cheese.
Cheesey potatoes (made by mom, recipe mom ???)
Asparagus with hollandaise sauce
Spiral ham with a honey rosemary demiglace
Dessert will be bread pudding with bananas, white chocolate, and toffee sauce
and
a vanilla custard with raspberries and a limoncello whipped cream
letchya know how it all pans out ;)
